Your pup's home away from home! :)

Pet care experience

Family of three, husband, wife and 18 year old daughter who absolutely love dogs! They mean the world to us! And taking care of animals is my passion; we truly do this because we care. :) And we take it very seriously! We are very well versed, knowledgeable and understanding when it comes to dog behavior. We have a spacious three bedroom house. Our beautiful, wonderful fur babies are 2 spayed female German Shepherds (one is a mix, they are both very well behaved, not aggressive!). Our older girl is almost 7 years old, and the younger goofball is almost 6 years old. They are quite high energy, so your pups will get plenty of play time! My husband works out of our home so his schedule is flexible and he is home often 3/4 of the day. And I am currently working out of my home full time due to Covid-19 (changing slightly, in the near future). We'll treat your dog like a part of the family, because doggies ARE family, and they are wonderful. :) We are able to cater to your dogs' needs, and YOUR preferences! We have experience working with ALL sized and ages of dogs, having owned many dogs since a very young age, and watching dogs pretty much every week for clients, neighbors, family, and friends. Even the most nervous of pups feel at home and comfortable in our home. :) Your dog will get toooons of attention every morning, early evening, evening and night (on weekdays, much more on the weekends!).** Even more so now due to me being home full time!! Every day your dog will be able to go potty at least six times a day and play both outside and inside our home. Feeding times are always controlled and supervised to eliminate any food aggression issues, and will follow your feeding schedule. Play is supervised as well. Your dog would be kenneled at night, and during short errands, while they are staying here. Doggies truly are my life! I constantly have dog lick marks on my glasses, and fur all over my clothes, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I have more pictures in my phone of dogs than anything else (I take 300 plus pictures per dog visit, not kidding!). :) :) I absolutely love dogs of all ages and sizes; they are great! :) I can also care for cats and other small animals, but would have to do so in your home, through drop in visits. We are ready (and can't wait!!) to watch your fur babies for you. :) Any questions, just ask! If you are contacting me regarding doggy day care - please note, the earliest drop off time is 7am, and the latest pick up time I can accommodate is 7pm. I do have some flexibility if it a week long doggy day care, with a few occurrences of before 7am/after 7pm. Thank you in advance for your understanding! :) $20 off your first stay with me! Just ask me for the promo code. Looking forward to watching your fur babies for you! :) :)

Jamie is the best and it is our dog’s favorite place to stay while we are away! Sandy never wants to come home after a visit with Jamie, where she has so much fun always and feels so well looked after. We will always leave our dog with Jamie when we can!

Jamie is such a wonderful host. Our dog was well taken care of at her house and was so happy being there. She also sent us many pictures to let us know how our dog was doing and that made us happy too. Thank you Jamie for your great work.

See the paragraph above, that applies to both boarding and daycare. :) Related to drop in visits, I respect the client's property and rules. I ask a lot of questions so that I understand the layout of your home, and know locations of pertinent items, that way I can spend more time focused on your pets. I don't go in areas of your home that are private or off limits, I don't touch things that aren't related to pet care. I'm all about the animals and meeting their needs, socially and otherwise. :)

Information Jamie S. would like to know about your pet

-I do like to ask about your dogs good (and bad) habits/quirks -Things they do and don't like, if your dog has any triggers (thunderstorms, sirens, fireworks, etc.) -I like to know what commands your dog is familiar with so we can continue to use them. -I like to know any preferences you have in regards to feeding schedule, dog behavior, or any special information that will help us to give the very best care to your pet (allergies, special dietary needs, etc). :) -I also ask for a local emergency contact (especially if you will be out of town), as well as preference for vet care should we need to take them in for anything. And anything additionally that you feel I should know about your pet. I am a dog lover, and want them (and YOU!) to be very comfortable and happy! During feeding time, I keep my dogs separated from yours, and monitor them. So even if there is a possibility of food aggression, we are there to prevent it. Same goes for toys - we monitor dogs for signs of toy aggression - and if you know your dog is, I do like to know this upfront and ask that you not bring more toys along with your pup. :) Just for everyone's safety and comfort!

A typical day

We have a large park, very close to our house. And a sizable backyard for the dogs to romp in. :) We take nightly walks/play time, often 2 walks. Our guest dogs stay very busy playing with our two girls. And we have about a billion toys. ;) They get LOTS of love and attention all day long! We treat dogs like family, so they will not feel lonely or upset in our home! Even when it comes to the most shy and timid dogs, we help them warm up and feel very comfortable. :)

I work out of the house currently, but will be working certain days of the week in my office in the near future. In the ample time I am home, I spend my time directly in the thick of things with the dogs (my own and the guest dogs. The dogs have free reign of the downstairs, can play and run throughout the rooms. I'm here to play with them, give them water, feed them and give them all the attention they want. I do have occasional appointments I need to run, but spend 90% of my time right here with the fur babies. :)
