Pet care experience
I was a veterinary technician for 10 years and understand the dynamics of pet/owner relationships. Each is unique and I appreciate the needs of both owner and pet. Not just another walk around the block ~ Exercise should be both physically and mentally stimulating, so seeking new bushes to pee on is a mission and finding new smells to smell is an adventure. Extended walks are available. In home check-ins are your peace of mind ~ My tech experience allows me to recognize abnormalities in physical and mental behavioral aspects. You can rest assured that your pet will have a through wellness check a well as any specific needs met. Pet sitting is a combination of the above and I can offer flexibility to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable in your absence. With the added bonus of being like the “fun aunt” all kids like to hang out with.

We felt extremely comfortable during our entire 6-day trip that our dog was loved and safe with Jamie. She was very responsive during the stay and extremely flexible for pick-up and drop-off. We will definitely be booking Jamie again!

Jamie is as sweet as they come, she picked up and dropped off my lil’ Jordster to make life easier for me, all this was last minute but Jamie was cool as a cucumber and took care of everything like the pro she is. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call her if we ever need a sitter again, she’s my number one choice
Jamie's just great with dogs and other animals. I've known her for years, and aside for taking excellent care of her own critters, she's also done wonderful work as a tech in vet hospitals. She's firm but very loving and humane, and really enjoys being with the animals. She's taken care of my own precious kids many times, and I trust her 100%. Plus, Jamie's very active and outdoorsy - if Fido needs some extra energy burned off, I can guarantee that dog will be happily exhausted by the time you get home.

Beach walks (long or short) Park walks. * Small grassy parks or Garland Regional park for an extra long walk. * Del Monte forest offers a 4 mile loop. * Locally, around your neighborhood. I’m fit and an avid hiker/backpacker, so maintaining a moderate pace is a pleasure for me. Also, as a naturalist, I’m prepared to keep your dog away from harmful plants.
