Do you know that dogs can chase their tails due to curiosity, predator instinct, or even for issues such as fleas or anxiety? As a biologist, I've studied animal behavior, and currently work with a number of species (mostly bats and turtles). I also had a very best friend, growing up, named Shadow (black lab rescue) and currently live with 2 large, goofy cats. I conducted home visits and walked dogs for neighbors on vacation when in high school. I have volunteered at shelters and veterinary clinics. I was a member (1 year) of the kennel club at my college. I walked dogs once a week and tended to their water and food needs. I dog sit for a friend several times a year, most of which involves long day stays and some overnights.
