I have been around dogs my whole life, I love any and all. For about 6 months I walked a miniature poodle mix three times a week for 45 minutes each time. I did this for a friends neighbor. I was able to do days the owner needed, and adjusted the price to make it possible them to afford the amount of walks they wanted. For years now I have been a pet sitter for my former supervisor. They travel often, especially on weekends. I check in twice a day to feed their cat, and also dedicate at least 20 minutes to play time with the cat. Usually, I’ll spend an hour or more with them. I’ve also watched their dog on several occasions, it’s a hyper black lab only a year old. I would play ball and walk them until they were plenty tired. I’ve worked with and been around many different dogs and have always gotten along with them. I know how to handle big and small dogs, I respect them and always introduce myself with caution. I understand each animals comes with its own set of personality traits, and I will always strive to get to know them and learn how to best work with them.
