Pet care experience
I grew up with two dogs and had then lived in New York City where I watched dogs for years. I am back in Northern Virginia and I am continuing to watch dogs. I also love playing with dogs, which includes running with them. I love going on long walks and enjoy their company. I always give dogs plenty of attention, which includes frequent walks and petting. While I love being close with dogs, I also respect their sense of space and give them the attention they want and to not ever cross any of their boundaries. I will treat your dog as if they were my own. I am 6'10" and strong so I will make sure to never lose control of your dog. I look forward to meeting your pup.

Jamie was absolutely wonderful! He was kind, respectful, attentive, responsive, and so caring for my pups! We will DEFINITELY use him again. We have 2 pit bulls. One of my pups is very elderly and the other is very high energy. He took amazing, loving care of them with no problems. He sent me regular pictures and updates. Thank you Jamie!!
Nothing better than leaving on vacation for 10 days and returning with your dogs happy healthy and just the way you left them! JAMIE was a wonderful host to Layla and Bear He sent pictures every day so we could say hi to our very missed pups over the holiday. Extremely responsible, polite, and respectful. And apparently, there was more cuddling going on than could be imagined! Thank you JAMIE and Cassie for such great care we will be in touch soon!❤️
Jamie sent photos of Snowy every day, and you can tell from the photos that Snowy is really comfortable at Jamie’s. In addition, Jamie is really flexible in terms of pick up and drop off time - there was some delay in our trip back from the airport and he totally accommodated our schedule within short notice. Will definitely book again!
Jamie was a great sitter for Baxter! I love that we got to meet before the visit so the two could be introduced, and so we could discuss how the stay would go. Jamie was very communicative, and it seems that Baxter had a great time during his stay!

I have a fenced in yard and there are no other pets currently living at my house. It’s a fairly big yard as well so the dog would get plenty of exercise.

I will give a dog plenty of attention and love. I will be sure to play, pet and feed the dog every morning before I go to work. I also love to go on long walks as well if the dog likes to. I want to make sure the dog feels comfortable. The dog will never be left alone during the day as there is someone always at my house. The dog will feel cared for.

Availability
I work four days a week where I work mostly away from home. I do live with my parents and younger brother who are all able to take care of the pet, when I am away. I am able to stop by during lunch as well.
