Pet care experience
I have a lot of experience with basic animal training and I enjoy seeking to engage animals mentally so that they are calmer when left on their own. I grew up with two cats whom I trained to come, sit, go up, and shake, and I now have two well-trained dogs of my own.

This is the fourth time that I've had Jamie care for my dog Hercules while I'm out of town. She does a wonderful job caring for him and I would recommend her to anyone!

Jamie was fantastic with Augie! This was our first time leaving Augie with someone at our house and she was very patient with him when he was scared the first couple times she came over. She followed our instructions and gave us detailed notes and pictures after each visit. We will definitely use Jamie again in the future!

I enjoy walking dogs and teaching them new commands using treats. I use positive reinforcement to promote positive behaviors and distract from undesirable behaviors. I also will keep you updated and send photos of your pet as often as you would like while you are busy. I like to create a positive, fun environment and spend lots of time playing with them outside, weather permitting.

A typical day
I love to keep dogs active and stimulated. First I will check if they need food or water and then we will play some interactive games or work on basic obedience commands before heading out for a walk!

Availability
I currently teach piano for a few hours in the late afternoon/evening on most weekdays, so my schedule is completely open during most of the day and after work in the evenings. I am also free all day every day on weekends.
