Canine Coach, CPDT, FDM

Pet care experience

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) and Certified Family Dog Mediator®️ (FDM). I continue my education in canine behavior studies at every opportunity to remain informed with updated research to provide the best possible care to my clients regardless of their age, breed or struggles. I have been a trainer for about 14 years but a lover of dogs since I was just 2 years old. I have been around and had dogs my entire life. I love to do what YOUR dog loves to do! From a social visit at a local Benson's, Lowes or other pet friendly locations to a sniffari at the Crossings to a game of fetch in the back yard. An adventure walk just around the neighborhood can be an enriching experience with some nature made ACE Freework too. My goal is to give your dog the enrichment they desire. If your dog is limited to your home I can play fun enrichment games to bring some fun to their day. Walking a dog goes beyond just a walk. A walk with someone can make or break a dog with the right circumstances. I always take your dog's emotional and mental wellbeing into consideration. A walk should be an experience your dog feels safe emotionally AND physically. I can offer training support to those who are a training client. Offering walking for my canine clients with special needs such as anxiety, reactivity and fear based aggression issues to maintain success since I am familiar with their case. I do not/will not use any adverse tools or methods. (No pinch/choke/electronic collars)

We trust Jamie completely. We have no worries when we know she will be there to care for our dogs. Trustworthy, kind, reliable. Our dogs are well taken care of and worn out when she looks after them.

Jamie is our DREAM dog caretaker and trainer. The pups have so much fun with her and are always so happy and well cared for during visits - and totally exhausted after. We love Jamie!

Safety, trust & environment

I can walk in your neighborhood or pick up your pup for a sniffari through the local park or local dog friendly shops for some social time. All dependent on your dog's needs and what they enjoy most. I can even just play at home if that is what you prefer.

Information Jamie S. would like to know about your pet

It is very important that I am made aware if your dog has any health issues and environmental/food allergies. I need to know if your dog can have treats while on a walk or if they are sensitive to any particular ingredients. I need to know if your dog has any reactivity or aggression with people or other dogs as well as how they are socially.
