I’ve lived with dogs most of my life! Your dog will be well cared for and treated like family. I only host one dog at a time (along with my own dog) for overnights so that I can best provide a calm environment and give individualized attention. For daycare I can take up to two dogs. I work on basic training with positive reinforcement for good behavior. Your dog will enjoy walks around the neighborhood and plenty of play/sniffing time in the yard. Dogs that are under 45 pounds and have moderate to low energy and appreciate quiet moments/some naps will do best at my house. Dogs with high or excessive energy might not be the best fit here as I do work from home.

Jamie has a great demeanor and was not phased by my spunky doodle. They had a great walk together. It was an excellent first experience with Rover. Hoping to utilize more of the services Jamie offers in the future!
Jamie kept my boy busy. He came back to me exhausted which was perfect. He’s got a lot of never ending doodle energy so I appreciated the time he got to run in the backyard and the long walks as well. It was really nice to get several pictures throughout the day! Hopefully we will be repeat customers!
Jamie was an awesome host for our dog Mini. She kept us informed with pictures throughout Mini's stay and really made us feel that our dog was safe and loved in our absence. We will definitely use Jamie again. We have used Rover often and Jamie was perhaps the best host we ever had!
Bella had a great time at Jamie's, running in her nice grassy backyard. I really appreciate that Jamie was able to watch Bella while we went to the beach, and was very flexible about the drop off and pickup. And cute photos and videos are great!

Unless your dog enjoys/ does best crated, your dog will be trusted to be free in the house. Safety is a priority so I never leave outside unsupervised. I can administer medication as needed and can guarantee your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention. Dogs are allowed on furniture and we also have a few dog beds. For everyone’s safety, I only take dogs who are up to date on vaccinations and are on some form of flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.

A typical day
Typically walk in the morning and afternoon. When the weather is nice we might walk down to the marina and around town to take in the sights and smells or we take a drive to a trail or the bay. We have plenty of dog toys and balls to stay entertained too!
