Before I describe Jamie, I should first give you some context regarding how I know her. Jamie walked my dog, Lucy for years. Lucy was part of a pack of dogs that Jamie would take to remote sites where they could run and play with each other off leash. She would pick up Lucy and they would be away for 2-3 hours before returning. When I think about the difference between a good dog walker and a great one, I look at two areas. The first is the “need to haves”. Is he/she on time? Is our dog safe? Do I trust them with our house key? Is the time spent worthwhile for the animal? Jamie succeeds in all of these areas. In fact, I trusted Jamie to stay in our house to care for Lucy and our cats while we were on vacation. What separates Jamie from others, and what makes her a great choice, is the connection she has with the animals for whom she cares. She genuinely loves Lucy and I can see that Lucy loves her right back. The excitement and happiness that Lucy feels when she sees Jamie is obvious and I’m certain that other dogs react to her in this way as well. Though we were saddened when we found out that Jamie was moving, our loss can be your gain. I am happy to give Jamie my highest recommendation.
