Hello! I am a recently graduated veterinary technician. Here is a quick summary of my experience with animals: I am currently working at a small animal and exotics hospital as a veterinary technician. My job includes monitoring anesthesia, assisting in surgeries, administering medications and vaccines, and plenty more. I previously had a job as an animal care specialist at a vet clinic for almost a year. I have also volunteered at the Humane Society of West Michigan for a year, and I raised and trained a Paws with a Cause puppy. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs, from herders, to hounds, to toy breeds, and more, and therefore can handle a variety of temperaments. I also have experience with many different walking tools (step in harness, gentle leader, easy walker, martingales, etc). I am trained in pet CPR and can administer medications, including injections. While dogs are my specialty, I do have experience with a wide range of other animals as well. My love for animals started at a very young age, when I got my first pet - a rabbit named Snickers - and has continued to grow from there. Since then I have had a large variety of pets (cats, dogs, rodents, small animals, reptiles, horses, and more).
