Pet care experience
I am a University of Ottawa graduate (Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and Animal Behaviour), looking to spend time with pets and dogs. since I have 2 cats and can't have a dog of my own at the moment. I have been dog-walking and house-sitting since I was 10 years old and have owned dogs, cats, hamsters, reptiles, and fish in the past. I am very comfortable with animals and also have experience with dog obedience/training techniques for new tricks. I love to take them on hikes and walks with me, so that I have some company in the outdoors! I also have experience caring for older dogs, including a special needs dog that uses a wheel-chair on walks. I am comfortable taking care of cats and other small pets as well. Jamie was amazing. This was our first time to use Rover and our mind was put ease. Jamie was very detailed and thorough with the process and even thought of things we wouldn’t have even thought about in the first place. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking, just not at the time we would be looking to use her again at the same time in the future. Haha

I only offer boarding for small dogs, as I have two cats! The cats are very good with dogs and have lived with them before, but they do get frightened by larger dogs or dogs that are hyper, so a smaller calmer dog would be a great fit, just for the comfort of my own babies! I live in a 2 bedroom house-apartment, with a fenced in backyard.

A typical day
I work hybrid, so I am often home all day to spend time with your pet! On days that I do go to the office, they would be alone for 7 hours max. I love to go on long walks if your dog does, too, but can accommodate all different needs.
