Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember, I have absolutely adored animals. My whole world centers around them, and I have always dreamed of working alongside animals my entire life. Over the past decade, I have volunteered at many local animal shelters and rescues, including fostering two dogs of my own. While volunteering, I have cared for and walked dogs of all ages and sizes, bathed them, cleaned their cages, and transported many dogs as well. I have also pet and house sat for many people over the years; I have formed incredible bonds with the animals I have watched as well as with their owners. Forming trustworthy bonds with the families and their four-legged family members is what I love most about my job! Animals are my absolute passion, and your pet will have nothing short of the best time when I petsit them. I love spending time playing with and taking care of animals, and I would love to take care of yours! I have a very flexible schedule and am willing to work with you however you may need. Jamie has taken care of our boys, Harley (dog) & Sammy (cat), numerous times over the last couple of years. She is our absolute favorite! She’s trustworthy, caring and very communicative, giving us peace of mind that the boys are getting the best care possible when we’re away. I can’t recommend Jamie enough!
Jamie is fantastic! Our dog, Bailey, is almost 14 and loved having her come to our house to stay with her. Communication was outstanding as we had several changes — Jamie’s flexibility was much appreciated! Everything went great and definitely look forward to Jamie coming to stay with Bailey again!
We loved Jamie!!! She took care of our 7 month old puppy and since this was our first time leaving her we were really nervous. Jamie helped calm our nerves by sending us multiple updates and pictures a day which we absolutely loved. Our fur baby had the best time with her and we would definitely use her again!!
Jamie did a great job. Got lots of pictures seeing all the fun things our dog was doing and she showed no signs of stress when we got back. Will most definitely use her again.

One thing that I love most about animals is that the each have their own quirk; I love spending time with new furry friends and figuring out what makes them unique, and I would love to know what makes your pet unique! I want to know what excites them so that I can provide lots of fun for your pet, and I also want to know what may scare them so that I can avoid these things while watching them (such as car rides, the mailman, the doorbell, etc). When your pet is in my care, my main goal is to protect them, love them well, and earn their trust! I want them to feel as at home with me as they do with you. I have no breed preferences. Pit Bulls are WELCOME! I love pit bulls, and I hold such a positive and loving outlook on the breed.
A typical day
I am more than willing to take your dog on fun adventures if they are used to doing that with you and if you are comfortable with me doing that with them. This includes dog parks, short hikes, lake visits, and others. I will also play fetch and give endless belly rubs. I am also open to just chilling with the older dogs and making them feel comfortable. I am super flexible and can do anything you need me to do!
