Hello! My name is Jamie and while I am new to Rover, I have been taking care of dogs/animals since I was a little girl. I grew up with a lot of dogs (I mean, more than 10 at once) varying in sizes from MinPins to Great Danes and all breeds from dalmations and labs to mastiffs and wolf hybrids. I currently have two very sweet and well trained pitbull mixes that go everywhere but work with me. In my experience, a tired dog is a happy dog, so nice long walks or fetch sessions paired with positive reinforcement and rewards are the way to happy, healthy pets. While I have NO issues with large dogs, I ask that they be leash trained BEFORE you hire me. I'm not a very large woman, and do not want to be dragged across the park or street by your beautiful giant baby. I am also willing to walk/play with dogs that may be aggressive towards other animals on a case by case basis. No breed/weight/age restrictions, please provide your own leashes/collars/poo bags.
