I am a recent graduate from Ohio State, majoring in Zoology. I have a very flexible schedule, as I currently work from home. I live a couple blocks from Waikiki beach with my partner and our cat, Ryan. I do have a vehicle to get around the island as well. I will take good care of your animals and do exactly what is asked of me. I have grown up with several pets, including "high maintenance" ones (i.e. need allergy shots, on several medications, etc.). Growing up, I often helped my mom with her dog grooming business. I am very attentive to animals and love to be around them. I am great at following directions and can give you updates on how the walks/sits are going if requested. I look forward to connecting with you and your little fur balls!

This was my first experience with Rover.com. I randomly picked Jamie to care for Peewee. Wow , I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I knew putting peewee in a kennel was not good for him since he is blind. After our first meeting I knew she was a good choice for us. I was able to go on my vacation knowing he would be taken care of. Jamie lived ip to all my expectations. She sent me pictures and kept me updated daily. The first meet and greet is very important for me to understand the animal’s routine and habits. It is imperative for the animals to feel comfortable with me, as well as their owners absence. I like to take detailed notes when I first get to meet them, so I can help them better adjust to a new face.

A typical day
I typically like to keep the animals familiar with their normal routine as much as possible. This helps them with their separation anxiety. I will do exactly what is asked of me, which includes taking them to their favorite spots and walking them along their normal routes, unless asked otherwise.

I currently work from home, with my work schedule being on East Coast time, so I am pretty much free throughout the day and night. I can also work from my laptop if overnight stays are required.
