I am the epitome of an animal lover, have been my whole life! I have had various pets but dogs are one of my favorites! I spend my spare time volunteering for a local pet rescue to help animals who have had a rough time and need some help. I also foster dogs and other small animals for the rescue. My first dog had an aversion to staying in the typical boarding kennel so I understand the need for this type of service and how much more focused on the dog's specific needs my care is. They get more one on one time than a kennel could possibly offer while staying with me at the farm. They are welcome to share the couch and the bed with us, as well which most dogs would enjoy for sure. We have a farm placed at the end of a long dead-end road so there is little danger for traffic though I'm still diligent about leash use for dogs who need it. We have mowed paths for walking the dogs daily which I usually walk about twice per day. Once right away in the morning after finishing morning chores and the dog's first meal of the day, then I try to get out again at the end of the day after dinner as well to burn off any extra energy they have pent up before bed. Lots of extra potty breaks between there, as well. If your dog comes to stay with me they will be spoiled to the max! Just like at home! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
