I have been a dog parent for most my life and am most at home when there’s a dog around. My dog, Pork Chop, passed away several years ago, but I’ve continued to regularly care for dogs both as a foster parent and a dog sitter. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and dogs with special needs. I have worked with dogs that are reactive on leash, anxious dogs and those who are on a strict medication schedules. I work from home three days a week, which gives me the flexibility to spend a lot of time with the dogs that I board. I do, however, go to my office up to two days a week which can take me out of the house for 8 hours those days. I have a big fenced in yard and can give your dog regular potty breaks. I generally take dogs on walks once or twice a day either around the neighborhood or up to Mt. Tabor park, depending on what best suits the dog. Your dog will have the ability to roam throughout the house during the day and have regular access to the yard. I can work with dogs on crate training, but am also am happy to let dogs lounge on furniture or sleep on the bed. I only board one dog at a time, so your dog would be the only animal in the house.
