Hi, I'm Jamie. Originally from NYC, I landed here in Savannah in 2013. I'm a 5th grade teacher by day, an amateur sports referee some weekends, and run a local nonprofit- in spite of all of this, my schedule is flexible. At parties, I'm the one socializing with the dogs. When there has been a stray in the neighborhood (or while I'm traveling) somehow they always find me. I take care of every dog I meet as if they were my own, and your babies will be no different! I enjoy getting to know new dogs and establishing connections with them- it's impossible to be sad when you're around a furry goofball. I have had dogs and cared for others' dogs since I was about 10. My brood includes 6yo Hazie, a pitt mix, and my little brother Baxter, an 11yo Dobie/Boxer/Lab/??, who lives with my parents. I am also a retired NYC paramedic, and have several local vet tech friends on call.

I take care of your home and your babies as if they were mine! Making sure the pet’s environment stays consistent is of the utmost importance. I also will water your plants, take in the mail, etc. you will never come home to a disaster or neglected pets!

I love all dogs, but have a very special place in my heart for the bully breeds- pitties especially! The goofier the dog, the better we get along. I do like to know if your dog(s) are nervous, anxious, or have any other behavioral issues. Useful information that is nice to have includes eating schedule, bathroom habits, preferred vet, any allergies, and any other information you care to share about your baby. I would also like a local emergency contact in case anything pops up.
A typical day
We will walk (or run, whatever your baby prefers) all over the planet as time allows. Locally, I'm happy to bring your babies to Daffin, Forsyth, or just for a few trips around the block.
