Pet care experience
I love all kinds animals and have had furry friends in my home since childhood. For many years I volunteered at local animal shelters doing mid-week and weekend walks for local dogs while waiting to find their forever home. I also have experience caring for disabled and elderly dogs!

To Whom it May Concern, Jamie would make a wonderful dog caregiver. Her love and compassion for animals (especially dogs) goes way beyond. She is a caring, patient and compassionate young lady. Most of all she is dependable. I have seen her care for dogs and her kind nature makes her a natural for this job. I would entrust her anytime with any dog and I know she would make a fantastic caregiver.
We had our family dog Stella for 18 years, during that time Jamie took an active role in her care. She was responsible for feeding, walking and the grooming of Stella. There wasn't a night that went by that Stella slept at Jamie's feet in her bed. When Stella got older and needed walking, sometimes in the middle of the night, it was Jamie that woke up and took her out. Jamie is an extremely responsible person and takes any responsibility very seriously. I would trust Jamie with the care of anyone's dog, she would treat that dog the same way she took care of our family dog.

I am centrally located in the downtown area, and am very close to several great parks, including Scalzi, Mill River, and the Harbor Point commons area. My residence also has a private dog run that is fully fenced in and large enough for any dog to get their mid-day zoomies out! I always take familiar routes that are safe, clean and fun! For daycare service/pets visiting my home: Please note that my dog is home with me all day, and will not be in a crate/separated from any pets visiting for daycare. She is very well socialized, up to date on all vaccinations, and is spayed. For new clients, I will require a meet and greet to ensure that both dogs feel comfortable and safe around one another!

For daycare service/pets visiting my home: Please note that my dog is home with me all day, and will not be in a crate/separated from any pets visiting for daycare. She is very well socialized, up to date on all vaccinations, and is spayed. For new clients, I will require a meet and greet to ensure that both dogs feel comfortable and safe around one another !
A typical day
I have an incredibly active puppy at home. We take 1-2 long walks per day, I ensure she is mentally stimulated with mind games/puzzles (especially on rainy days). On nice days, we love going to our private residence’s dog park to play fetch! I also have experience caring for elderly dogs who prefer cuddle time over play time:)

Availability
I WFH full time and have the flexibility to do local dog walks/visits virtually any time or day of the week! I am available MWF and weekends for early morning, noon or evening walks. I am also available Tuesdays and Thursdays for morning or noon walks/visits. I do strive to be as flexible as possible, however, and can consider accommodating mid-day visits on Tu/Th when I am able to and with ample notice. I can travel locally, and have a dog car seat in the event that your pet needs to travel with me.
