I grew up in a home where my family did not have much time to devote to a dog, so we were never able to get one of our own. Now, I can't think of a more fun way to spend the summer than playing with pups of all breeds, activity levels, and personalities! I am home from college for the summer, and would love to be outside as much as possible; I think dogs are a great way to encourage an active lifestyle! This year in college, I was able to love on and care for a classmates elderly pup while she was busy moving apartments. The sweet, 12-year-old black lab, Abby, was such a gem to have. I hope to have many more!
