Experience: I have been around dogs all my life. I'm what you call a "dog person" and love dogs more than humans sometimes :) I have had family dogs (Shih Tzu's) as well as my own (black lab/Irish setter). I have cared for all sizes and most breeds. I have cared for puppies as young as 2 weeks (the puppy's mom wasn't around, strange circumstance) and was able to help bottle feed and care for such young pups! I also have experience house/dog sitting a Saint Bernard for sometimes up to 14 days! So I have had my fair share of caring for small and big dogs! I have had experience with potty training too so I don't mind puppies either! Availability: Depends on the week. I work at a local hospital in Madison and my hours are 11am-7:30pm and occasionally 3pm-11:30pm but I don't work every single day. I do work every other weekend though (Friday and Saturday 11am-7:30pm) and those two days are the only consistent days that I work. The weekends I do work are every second and 4th weekend of the month (if that makes sense). Otherwise during the week it varies and my work schedule is flexible as far as switching shifts with my coworkers. If I do happen to work a day I am needed and depending on the shift, I can always come between 6am-10:00am or if I work at 3pm that day I could come anytime from 6am-2:00pm. My days off I am available any time. If you needed me to stay the night and dog sit I would have to know in advance to make sure I can get my shifts covered at work.
