Hey there! My name is Jamie, I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan and am now living in upper Manhattan. I'm a lifelong animal lover who has owned and cared for many pets including dogs big and small, cats, birds, snakes, hamsters and gerbils, rabbits, you name it. I teach group fitness at various gyms throughout Manhattan, and am often free in the afternoon, perfect for a mid day walk while you're busy at work! I'm also available for single over night, and extended over night stays. Why I love dog sitting I've always been an animal lover, but dogs in particular have a special place in my heart. Whatever love you put into caring for a dog, you get back ten fold. I grew up taking care of and training the many dogs my family adopted. So much so that even after being long grown and out of the house, whenever I visit my grandmother the first thing she asks me to do is give her dog a bath because I'm the only one he'll let groom him. Personal Pets Recently I adopted a cat from the ASPCA, and I have completely fallen head over heels for the little guy. He's the most spoiled cat in Manhattan. He gets regular playtime, brushes, and only eats the best food. My family teases me, saying 'That cat certainly landed on his feet when he met you.' In all honesty he is always one of the bright spots of my day and brings nothing but joy into my life, plus a lot of cat hair.
