I have had dogs in my family my entire life, first as a child and now with my own family. Before moving, my husband volunteered his time at Seattle Humane to help care for dogs in need of a home and is experienced with all sizes, breeds and temperaments. We have also fostered dogs while they were awaiting a forever home. Because we have 3 small dogs of our own, all under 15 lbs (4 lb Yorkie, 10 lb Min Pin and a Jack Russell Terrier mix), we can take up to 2 potty trained, flea free, dogs under 30 lbs into our home. Our dogs are very friendly, have all of their vaccines and are flea free. We ask the same of your dogs. We have an invisible fence to prevent our dogs from leaving the yard. Although we have the fence, we will take your dog(s) outside on a leash for each potty trip to ensure their safety and they will get AT LEAST one long walk per day and I'll send you pictures of our outing! We are on a 1 acre lot so there is plenty of room to run too! Please send your dog with his or her favorite toy, food, any special treats, a comfort item like a well loved blanket he/she is more at ease in a new environment and don't forget their leash (although we have extras if you do!) We will treat your dog(s) as our own and are excited to grow our furry family of friends! We look forward to meeting you and your pup soon!
