I have successfully worked for Wag for more than 1 year, and have built a good reputation with that outfit for both dog-sitting and -walking, having walked/sat for over 500 dogs. Having lived in Asia for 20 years, I have learned to be adaptable, responsible, patient, reliable and trustworthy. I grew up with a Samoyed and border collie/Shetland sheepdog mix, so I learned when I was younger how to properly interact with dogs, and in the process how easy it is to love them. I developed an instinct early on how to detect the emotions of a dog, and consequently, how to react to a wide range of emotions. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was a kid, but somehow I got sidetracked by poetry, which I ended up concentrating on in college.
