With my personable and comforting personality, each dog and cat that I have come into contact with has had a fun, easy-going, and loving companionship. I am very mindful of the time that I spend with each pet. I do know that many pet owners do tend to hold back on taking trips because finding a sitter can be challenging and also being away from your pet can be nerve-racking. I do my best to ensure that your pet and you are enjoying peace of mind while you are away. I am happy to relieve the stresses so you can enjoy your vacation, day out, or even just focus on work while you are not home. Being mindful of each animal's and pet owner's needs and preferences is top of mind. With experience in healthcare and pet care, I have been able to work with special needs pets, puppies, senior pets, and I do provide proper medication administration orally (pills, tinctures, etc), injectable medication, and IV fluids. I have great flexibility available when caring for your pets, I currently run my own online business so I am able to arrive day or evening to take care of your fur-kids. To provide a brief history on myself; I grew up on a large ranch in the Pacific Northwest, we had a significant amount of trained hunting dogs that we raised. We raised English Springer Spaniels as flush and pointer bird dogs, as well as German Short Hairs throughout the years. I've spent many years caring for horse and cattle as well. My most recent dog was Bo, a Jack Russel Terrier mix. We spent a lot of time at the river together as well as many hours taking drives together. He passed away in 2018, since then I have done some travelling and recently relocated back to Oregon after being in Florida with my other half the last few years. I'm excellent with matching, yet leading the way when it has come to each pet. I can be sweet/caring and gentle, but I will also be stern when needed. I have experience with on-leash and off-leash when dogs have been trained. Please note: Your pet will only be allowed to explore in a fenced-in area if they are off-leash.
