One of the first things I knew about James was his love of dogs! While living abroad in a place where having dogs as pets was a rarity, James always treated all the stray dogs as old best friends and gave them love and care that they weren't accustomed to on a day-to-day basis. In my home I have a chihuahua, a border collie, a chocolate lab, and a cat. My chihuahua and cat have never gotten used to any petsitters or guests- the chihuahua is untrusting and continues to bark and growl ferociously, my border collie is always quite hesitant, my chocolate lab in old age always seems to be indifferent, and my cat bolts and hides away even for regular visitors. All my pets adjusted to James quicker than they have to anyone else ever before! He accepted the challenge of befriending my difficult pets, something no one else has successfully attempted, and took the time and effort to gain their trust. I'm so happy to say that now all my pets love him. James genuinely cares about pets and is very attentive and intuitive to their needs! He is a wonderful caregiver to pets!
