James grew up in a house with as many as six dogs and five cats. He, as many kids do, had a natural affinity and love for all the animals. As he grew up he took on more and more responsibility for the dogs and would often walk and groom them. He was always patient and loving. On top of his natural comfort with dogs at home, on walks, in cars etc. James is a responsible and organized young man. A recent graduate for the University of Oregon, he paid for his college education through Army ROTC and has been commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. His time there only reinforced his innate strengths including responsibility and organization. Given his physical attributes, he is an excellent choice for a dog that needs/likes exercise although he is also good with couch potatoes.
