Hi! My name is James I am a very happy friendly person. Hopefully you will see that when we talk and meet for the first time. I love all animals and have since I was a kid. I have house sat for friends and others that have dogs for multiple days on end. I even helped take care of a friends dog for 5 months while they were traveling New Zealand. My House has 3 floor and is in a great neighborhood to walk dogs around in.I have taken care of other dogs before and my goal is to make them comfortable and happy in their new environment. I do not accept multiple dogs from different clients the reason being is that I want to give each owner pets the full attention.

James agreed to take Danny Boy on at very short notice, after Camp Bow Bow wouldn't take him with his broken toenail. Danny is a bundle of energy and had a great time playing with James' dog Athens. He spent 3 days there and came back each evening good and tired. He'll be seeing James again when we are next in town.
Great experience with James! Super flexible and laid-back, quick at responding, and a obvious dog lover. He sent me pictures and updates throughout my trip so I could see how the pups were doing. It seems like Axl and Rose had a great time with him! He took them for walks, runs, and they got to tag along with him to work so they could have company all day! I would definitely recommend James to anyone looking for a kind, educated and fun dog sitter. I'll be using him again in the future!
We could not have asked for a better first experience with Rover.com. James was extremely flexible, communicative and perfect for our dog Jude. We got pictures everyday of Jude at the park, on trails, and at the beach playing, and hanging out with James at home, and overall just in his own form of heaven. Jude really wasn't sure he wanted to come home when I went to pick him up. ? I was amazed at how calm and comfortable Jude was when I picked him up. James seemed to truly enjoy our pup, with all of his sometime wild and quirky energy. We would highly recommend letting James care for your 4-legged family member and we will definitely let Jude have another vacation with James again in the future.
When I was living in North End Tacoma I often took a lot of trips where I couldn't bring my dog. I often trusted my house and 8-yr-old 75lb hound/dobie mix with James. He was very trustworthy and always quick to update me with how Joe was handling my absence. 10/10 would trust James every time with the care of my dog.

A typical day
I like to take dogs to the park play some fetch run around a little maybe go to the beach if they are up for the activity. I am usually with the dogs all day when they stay with me. The dog can sleep wherever it really pleases they are allowed in my bed but if they prefer somewhere else they totally can.
