Pet care experience
Growing up on a beef cattle farm, I fell in love with animals at a very early age. Caring for three dogs, one cat, forty cattle, and couple sheep made up a normal day for me. Through this, I developed a passion for animal care. I am best suited to take care of your dogs because I am hardworking, thoughtful, and don't mind getting my hands dirty. I am happy to care for multiple dogs, other animals including livestock, and general home upkeep. I work full time in horticulture, so I can even take care of your plants! I am typically off work by 3 PM which leaves me lots of time to let your dog out and play with them for awhile in the daytime. I can care for dogs of all sizes and confidently keep them safe. I love to be active and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Spending time with animals is a joy for me and I will ensure that they feel as at home as possible with you away. I have spent my life with animals and I would love to meet yours. I will look after your dogs, other pets, or home with confidence and care.

It is no small feat to care for our 3 greyhounds one of which requiring special care due to cancer. After meeting James we knew we had found someone up to the challenge and he didn't let us down. He sent photos daily and responded quickly to any questions we had which allowed us to enjoy our time away. With previous sitters we braced ourselves for what we might find when returning because there would always be a mess. Not with James. It's a wonderful thing to come home from a long holiday and not have to spend hours cleaning up after the dog sitter. James left the house as he found it if not cleaner! James is a keeper and will be our first choice in the future.
James did a wonderful job with our two pups, we couldn't be happier and will definitely be using him again!!! He stayed at our house for a week while we were on vacation. During the week he sent picture updates (that were much appreciated) and we came home to a clean house with very happy pups!! He was very professional with all of his communication with us and did I mention the dogs absolutely LOVED him! I would highly recommend him for all of your pet needs! GREAT Sitter!
James was absolutely great! He stayed at our home for 10 days and thanks to his top-notch care of our dog, our plants, and our home we were able to vacation without a worry. James even sent photos and text messages so we'd see how happy our pup was. We adopted our dog from a rescue one year ago and I wanted him to be at home so he wouldn't feel abandoned or confused. This was the perfect solution. We had just planted some shrubs that needed to be watered frequently, and with James' horticultural experience they also were well cared for, as were our other houseplants and garden plants. We returned home to a happy dog, healthy plants, and house in perfect order (and even vacuumed!) I highly recommend James and we hope he will return for our next vacation.
James was simply amazing. He cared for our 6 cats, 4 who roam the house and 2 that are kept in separate rooms. Our cats really need companionship and don't do well without a dedicated caregiver. James took awesome care of all of them, especially the one who slept with him at night!! He sent us pictures almost every day and gave us daily updates. We were away for 7 nights, and arrived home to very happy, calm pets and a spotless house. James was very professional and friendly to work with, as well as flexible and accommodating. We would highly recommend James to anyone needing a caring pet sitter. He let us enjoy our vacation with no stress or worry about our pets.
