I've taken care of dogs my whole life. My own family dog, who lives with my parents, has been with us for nearly ten years now, which is nice, but I've spent the last two years traveling the country and the world, so I've been unable to keep a furry canine companion with me just for logistical reasons. However, crashing on a lot of people's couches also means taking care of a lot of random dogs. I've dealt with them all - big dogs, small dogs, nice dogs, mean dogs, you name it. When someone told me there was an app for helping take care of other people's dogs, I said hey, maybe I should get paid for this thing I already do all the time!
