Hi fellow dog owners, I'm a certified American Kennel Club, Canine Good Citizen Trainer/Evaluator, and have been training, sitting, and walking dogs for 12 years. I was also a dog trainer for PETCO, in Florida for three years. For sitting in my condo, I only take 1 dog at a time that is neutered or spayed, that shows good manners, and doesn't pull while walking. I retired from the military after 22 years, and then taught high school for 13 years. I am passionate about being with dogs. The bigger dogs that I exercise, I ride beside my bicycle for 30 minutes. When your dogs are with me they receive training as well.

Daisy was very happy staying with James. She got several walks in a day, took her medicine every day, and James even offered to groom her!
James is a great dog sitter who knows and loves dogs. He was very conscientious and a good communicator and very responsive. Our dog was very comfortable with him. Highly recommended.
James was a great match for Our Shih Tsu Bella. Bella has stayed with and had meet and greet visits with other sitters. She has always come away a little shaken. She was happy as a clam, comfortable and relaxed, when we picked her up after a day and a half with James. James is a natural with dogs, he was respectful to Bella’s routine. Bella will definitely be back to stay with James.
James is without a doubt one of the very best at helping owners understand how to keep the owner and pet relationship happy, healthy with mutual contentment. James help me, my wife and our golden retriever know what was expected and what to do to keep a responsible relationship that brought joy to all of us and our friends and guests whenever sharing visits ventured our way. I solicited James as the trainer for our Star-e. She was just a puppy and now 14 years later we know our valuable his expertise was an is. Thank you James, Star-e is still a treasure in our life.

My condo complex is in a park like environment with plenty of grass and trees. In the military, I was a flight safety officer for three years and so keeping your dog safe will be my first priority. I also have a small (10 lbs) miniature poodle who enjoys meeting other dogs.

A typical day
I love to play with your dogs physically and mentally. I am a dog trainer and training is an additional benefit your dog will get by being with me. I walk early every morning for about 45 minutes, the coolest part of the day. I walk 30 minutes every evening after the sun goes down. I like to play hide and seek with dogs and hide the treat.

Availability
I oam retired and so have a flexible schedule. One condition before we schedule a stay, for everyone's well-being, including the dogs, I would like you and your dog to meet me and my miniature poodle. I look forward to our meeting and becoming friends with you and your dog. I am available to sit Mon. - Fri. and although I have ongoing weekend commitments, I can watch your dog Fri. night, for pick up Sat. morning by 9 AM.
