A Friendly Companion to All 🐶🐱

Pet care experience

I got my first cat when I was 10 years old as a Christmas present and he’s stuck to me like glue ever since that snowy morning. His name is James-O and he was 2 months old when my dad brought him home for me. I feed him 3 times a day, always make sure he has fresh water (usually change it out every 2-3 hours) and ensure the litter box is clean. But the care doesn’t stop there. He always wants to snuggle, especially at night when I’m falling asleep and it helps me fall asleep knowing he’s safe. As a strictly indoor only cat, I feel it is my duty to protect him not only from harmful things outside but also inside. Anyone who I’m even a tiny bit hesitant on will not enter my house, making sure nobody can pose a threat to him. There are some days when I’m gone for up to 9 hours and I want him to be able to stay active or play when I’m not home. I have bought several toys, scratching posts and kitty cities over the years so there’s never a dull moment in his life. After 2 years, I began to worry that he was getting lonely when I was at school and dad was at work, so I talked my dad into getting him a playmate to keep him company and add another kitty to the family. I’m 2011, I adopted Sarah at the age of 1 year and 4 months old. She loves to run around the house, cuddle and rub her nose on me, so I could tell she would be a good fit. They took a few weeks to get used to each other, but they are the best of friends now and do a lot with each other. They share food, they cover up each other’s “messes” in the litter box and every now and then, I catch them cuddling together on the bed, sound asleep. Over the past 6 months, I’ve lived with my girlfriend and helped her take care of her cat, Lucky. He’s 19 years old and he’s very fragile, so I’ve learned to be very gentle with him and help him lift his tail to use the bathroom, give him fresh food every 3 hours and ensure he has fresh water. My girlfriend’s brother and her fiancé have also asked us to look in on the dogs for them while they’re away several times. With specific instructions left, I’ve helped feed them, play with them and let them outside to use the bathroom. I’ve never met a cat or dog that hasn’t liked me, no matter how big or small. I’ve even helped my girlfriend’s mother look after her Rottweiler 5 month old, Wally. He outweighs me by almost 10 lbs at the moment but when I come over, he loves to go for walks and play with his best friend. I love meeting new animals and helping others take care of them. It can be very nerve wracking to leave your house and pet(s) with someone new, but I’m a very friendly person and if I could fit more animals in my house, I would but 3’s a crowd.

James was fantastic. Super communicative and responsible. He was right on time and gave us updates. Olli was in great hands with him and I’d book a walk with him again in a heartbeat.

I hired James to walk my Rottweiler Wally two days a week, he is amazing with him. He treats Wally like he’s his best friend. James is extremely safe when Wally is in his care, taking extra precautions to ensure everything is fastened appropriately and that Wally is secure when walking. He takes his time letting Wally set the pace and never rushes him. The best part is James updates me with pictures and let’s me know how the walk went including a bathroom status. James also ensures Wallys food and water is filled before he leaves. I highly recommend James my pup is always happy and worn out when he returns.

I want what’s best for my cats, so I choose to keep them strictly indoors. They have food and water available all day with treats offered at bedtime. I clean the litter box several times a day, sweep around their food area daily, and vacuum once a week. This is all to ensure the cleanliness of their home. In a client’s home, I will 100% respect the rules laid out for me. It is my priority to ensure you and your pet feel safe with me in the house or out for a walk with your bundle of joy. Communication is very important to me and I know there will be no stone unturned when it comes to your requests when I am caring for your pet and no misunderstandings on my end.

I currently work as a Full-Time Shopper for Instacart and as a Dasher for DoorDash. With these 2 jobs, I’m completely in control of when I work, how much I make and what orders I do, so I’m very flexible in my schedule, opposed to Saturdays. After I moved in with my girlfriend, I no longer see my dad daily, so I go see him every Saturday to stay in touch with him. I live in Milton, NH, but I work in Rochester/Dover, so I’m never too far away. The longest I’m busy with an order is about an hour and a handful of minutes, but as soon as I finish up with that order, I’m only a few minutes away from your place and helping keep your pet company and giving them their essentials.
