I want to preface this review with these are just my observations from Jack’s stay. Pickup and drop off went smoothly, though I never actually met James, which was fine. Communication was pretty limited from James throughout Jack’s 10 day stay. When I reached out to ask how he was doing, I received “all is well” with no additional details. I did receive some pictures, but they were just of Jack in the dog house area where we dropped him off - not outside or playing with other dogs. I suspect he spent alot of time in the holding area they have for the dogs, and I’m not sure he ever played with other dogs. When we picked Jack up, he was wild. Normally when we pick him up from a sitter, he’s exhausted and tired from playing. We also realized once we got home that we didn’t get his food bowl back. When I texted James asking if we could pick it up, he said he would leave it out for us, but that Jack had chewed it up pretty good. I understand our dog is the one who chewed his bowl, but Jack only eats twice a day, and it takes him maybe 30 seconds to eat. So this makes me think he was just dropped off food and left again, without any other toys available to him. Overall, Jack was taken care of, but I don’t think this was the best fit for him.

James is a very nice person. Communication could have been a little better or more consistent.
