Pet care experience
I am a very active runner with 13 years experience caring for dogs. Currently taking off a year from SBCC as I prepare for medical school. I have owned an English Bulldog, 2 Black Labs, a shitszu, boxer, and pit bull and have 1 year experience as a volunteer at an animal shelter and 1 year experience working on a farm with cows, pigs, sheep and horses. The time your dog spends with me will be full of activities. Depending on the age and shape of your dog, we will go for walks/runs on the beach, hikes in the mountains and spend time in the shade sniffing the beautiful smells of Santa Barbara! Current availability is Full-Time. In the case of an emergency, I will be available to care for your dog.

I have had the pleasure of using James H to care for my dogs! First of all he is polite and responsible. From the moment we spoke on the phone until he came to meet my dogs, he was great. I was impressed by his initial meeting with the dogs. He took care and time to let them take their time and approach him. His voice was calm and it didn't take long for the dogs to be comfortable with him. James was clean, and treated our home with respect. We have used him for walking as well and have never been concerned that our dogs weren't getting enough time and attention. We recommend James for any of your pets' needs!!!

A typical day
We will go for walks all along the beaches of Santa Barbara and play in the sand and grass. I would even love to take your dog for runs and hikes in the mountains of Santa Barbara! We will play fetch or tag and your dog will be spoiled with belly rubs!
