I spent a number of years as a volunteer at the Cleveland APL, helping to socialize and care for shelter dogs/puppies, providing walks, yard-time, affection, and assisting with kennel hygiene, among other things. From infancy I was raised in a family with a dog and learned early on how to love and care for a valued member of the family. I take that responsibility very seriously. It is important that there be mutual trust and respect between clients and caregivers. I have some flexibility in scheduling, but am currently limiting my time available for Rover engagements so as not to overcommit. My Rover engagements are really about the satisfaction of spending time with pets and getting to know and love them. I treat all pets as if they were my own, subject of course to their specific needs. I’ve cared for young puppies and kittens, seniors, and pets with health issues that require special attention.
