Love caring for dogs
Pet care experience
I've been caring for my own pets my entire life. I have had Jack Russel's in my home growing up and have personally trained and cared for them. I moved from Winona, where I went to school for environmental science, to Rochester this year. I work full time as a forester at Zumbro Valley Forestry. I eventually want to own a Newfoundland when I have my own home. I'm a fit runner so long walks aren't an issue for me. I love dogs and can't wait to work with yours if given the chance!

James has cared deeply about animals his whole life. It is no surprise to me that he would like to take care of others' dogs for them. He has personally cared for four of my dogs and I can say unequivocally that he would take care of your dogs as if they were his own. We can't always be there for our pets, but in the event you're ever not around, you could not find a better caregiver to rely on than James.

I can potentially host a dog for a short period of time as long as I'm given the dog's care equipment and instructions for their routine. My apartment complex has a dog park where I can socialize your dog and let them exercise.

I just need to know any special needs or medication routines your dog has so I can best care for them. If they are high energy and excitable that is also good to know in advance.
A typical day
With a dog I'd visit I'd play fetch with their favorite toys, take them on a long walk down a scenic path, and play with them at the nearby park.

Availability
I work full time 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Zumbro Valley Forestry, and am free most weekends. I can do overnight stays, if notified ahead of time.
