I have 15 years of experience as a foster parent for the ASPCA back home, helping abused dogs be rehabilitated and readied to become a family member. I have been a pack leader since 2003, and have cared for numerous dogs (pack members and honorary) throughout my entire adult life. I am a dog lover, who believes in assertive kindness and in the benefits of calm energy in dog behavior. It also doesn't hurt that my most valuable assets are my own dogs - there's nothing at my home that, if destroyed by canine mischief, would be a problem. When in my care, your animal will be treated as one of my own - and by the time they leave, they will have a couple of new friends.

James was absolutely amazing with our 8mo old puppy!! We dropped her off for a 4 day stay and picked up one happy pup. It was our first time leaving her with anyone he was kind and patient with her and gave her all love and playtime she needed. His home/yard was perfect too lots of room to play and run. We were so happy with James we’d definitely use him again.
James has been a lifesaver. I have always hated putting my dogs in a kennel where they don’t get the love and attention that they deserve, especially when we are away. Our dog went to James’ home and immediately fell into the pack. He was allowed to play and enjoy his new friends. He got plenty of exercise and lots of love. James treats animals better than most people treat each other. He was able to accommodate our request on short notice and even met us halfway since our schedule changed. I would definitely recommend James to anyone that wants their fur baby to be well taken care of. Just be prepared to give your pup the same amount of attention when you get back!!!
James is absolutely great with dogs. He cares incredibly for them and provides a warm and comfortable environment for them. He is very knowledgeable about dog training and is proactive about giving advice and helping with behaviors. I feel very comfortable with James taking care of my dog, she has created a great bond with him and I would highly recommend him!
