Pet care experience
hi everyone, im jimmy, ive been taking care of dogs my entire life from the ones ive owned(german shepherd, chocolate lab and a great pyrenees) to all of my friends, co workers and neighbors dogs when necessary. it almost feels like ive been doing rover.com my whole adult life lol. i am also a volunteer at the toms river animal shelter for the past 3 years. there i have encountered a large majority of breeds and and how to deal with all types of temperaments. dogs and i have always seemed to have a special bond. i feel like we share a common energy. i look forward to meeting you and your fur baby:) oh and i am currently enrolled in a course to become certified in doggy first aide and cpr.

James and his family gave Ffion so much love and the highest level of care and attention during her stay! We couldn't have found a better match for our 2 week ++ holiday vacation. They sent multiple photographs each day, she was able to get exercise and play in the backyard with their dog, they must have given Ffion a bath on her pick up day - her coat was velvety soft, shiny, and so clean! Our dog is 100lbs and James and his family confidently handled Ffion, they are dog lovers through and through, extremely professional and always replied to messages promptly. I highly recommend James and will absolutely be re-booking in the future!

James was amazing with Laurie, and made me feel comfortable using Rover for the first time. He really helped me in a tight spot with work! Highly recommend
James is the BEST!! Marley stayed with him for two nights and had the best time!! James made Marley feel right at home, he sent pictures and provided updates. I was very relieved and grateful to know Marley was loved and cared for and to see that he was having so much fun in a safe environment. i have absolutely no preference when it comes to breeds, i love them all! however, since i will be having multiple dogs on some days (no more then 3) i would prefer if your dog was good with other dogs, but if they are not that is ok, i have a large house and plenty of areas to keep them separate.
A typical day
depending on your dogs needs: i live in a very nice neighborhood with lots of safe places to take walks. i also have a large fenced in backyard for your dog to run play and explore. there is also a REALLY large fenced in field at the school across the street (if your dog has some extra energy they need burned off) or if your dog prefers to play inside or hang on the couch, we can do that too:)
