I'm a long-time dog owner and handler with 10 years Dog TLC volunteer experience at Longmont Humane in Colorado and over 600 volunteer hours in Dogtown at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary; your dog will enjoy interacting with my well-socialized dog with full run of our house and regular access to our fully fenced (6-foot high) backyard; I work from home so will be with your dog all day and will happily include them on the walks I take my dog on throughout the day if you like. Whether your dog likes to adventure or just wants to hang out, we can accommodate - please see my references who can attest to the care their dogs received under my watch. My dog is the most valuable thing in my world, and I will treat your dog as the same.

James is the best. My dog got lots of personal attention and he had some great ideas on things to do in Kanab!
Glitter is a service dog and has never had a pet sitter outside of my home. She took to James and Little Man immediately and had a wonderful day. James is very easy going and his love of animals shows. This was a good choice for me because we took a 9 hour tour that she would have hated.
My Corgi Ekko was treated great at James’ place. Ekko is very happy playing with other dogs.

A typical day
We can take walks around the Ranchos neighborhood or to the Ranchos park (for the dog that misses green grass); depending on the weather and your dog's needs, we can also venture further if desired and explore one of the abundant hiking trails in the area such as Bunting Trail; your dog will have a playmate who likes to wrestle (if you ask him nicely) and run; full access to a comfortable couch, chair, or bed, or all three!
