Pet care experience
Thank you for considering me to take care of your dog! My experience with dogs is extensive. I would be thrilled to give your dog some caring love and attention anytime they need it. The best days are ones spent with furry companions and going on long walks! Finding someone new to care for your dog as you do can be a challenging and exhausting endeavor. Don't worry, I'm here to help with that. Rest assured, you will have that peace of mind if you choose me. I have chosen this as my full-time job. So I have ample time to give your dog the attention they need and deserve. I have worked with and am confident in handling dogs of all temperaments and personalities. I have also owned or cared for many different breeds of dogs over the years. These range from 5lb Yorkshire terriers up to 110lb German shepherds. I am knowledgeable and have experience taking care of senior dogs that need special assistance with mobility and medical conditions. I also have an up to date certification from the American Red Cross in canine and feline first aid as well as CPR.(see profile photos for certificate) I currently own three animals, two dogs, and a cat. Eva, a 4-year-old German shepherd, Samantha, a 7-year-old German shepherd mix, and last but not least Armin, a 2-year-old Maine Coon. Both of my dogs are well trained, obedient, and properly socialized with other dogs. My cat is shy around new dogs, as most cats are. However, he is very dog-friendly if your dog has a longer stay or becomes a repeat visitor. My home is a three-story house with a good-sized yard. I have plenty of room to accommodate any size dog for boarding or daycare. This was our first time using a dog sitter and we couldn't have had a better experience. James was outstanding. We were gone for a total of three nights, and James sent pictures and activity summaries every day so we had a good sense of how our pup was spending her time and coping with our absence. Seeing her playing with his dogs, going on walks, and doing the things she does at home gave us peace of mind that allowed us to enjoy our getaway without worrying about her well-being. When we made the decision to get a large dog, my biggest worry was having to arrange boarding for her when we travel. But that is no longer a concern. We will absolutely be using James again and will recommend him to everyone we know!
James was always quick with responses. He sent many updates and pictures, so we never even had time to wonder how our dog was doing during his stay! We will definitely have James watch Gunner again in the future.
James took on my dog at the last minute when I got a chance to go out of town for the long holiday weekend. He took the time to meet with me privately beforehand to make sure the dog was comfortable with him and the new surroundings. James was extremely communicative + thoughtfully sent pictures at least twice a day while I was away. He is extremely professional, with a can do attitude and I could not recommend him any higher than the 5 star rating available (or I would have) to care for your pet!

We have ample trails a couple hundred yards from my front door, as well as endless sidewalks. Your dog would enjoy a minimum of at least one walk per day, usually two as long as weather permits. Also plenty of fun games of fetch, tug of war, and any other games your dog may enjoy. Or just simply chewing on a bone and relaxing if that is their cup of tea.
