Hi there! My name is Jamee, and I live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood in Gresham. I am a wife, and stay at home mother of two girls (10 and 6) and our 3 year old Lab mix, Dakota! Because I am a stay at home parent and my children attend public school, my availability during the weekdays for walks, home visits, and drop-ins is fairly flexible. I grew up with dogs myself, and have experience with a range of dog breeds from small to large, as well as caring for and accommodating family friends’ dogs While they are away. My love of dogs started from the very beginning and is lifelong, I am definitely an animal lover! I respect and admire dogs, and have spent a great deal of time studying their psychology so that I can better serve them when handling them and also giving affection. When any new dog is in my care, they are loved and cared for the same way I would my own beloved pup, as a precious member of the family! Dog(s) have graced my home all of my childhood, and most of my adult life. Our rescue Chow-mix was my dear childhood friend for many years growing up, as well as our sweet-hearted Cocker Spaniel/German Shepherd mix. I’ve had other dogs over the years, and now I have a sweet 3-year-old Chocolate Lab/English Coonhound mix named Dakota that I’ve had since he was 8 weeks. He is such a goofball sweetheart, and absolutely LOVES all dogs and people! I understand having a demanding and busy schedule, and also wanting to make sure your furry family member gets the care and attention they need while you’re away! It brings me joy to help alleviate some of that, and also get some much loved pup time in myself!
