Pet care experience
Having had dogs since a young child and raised them, I love being involved with dogs. I would like to spend time with cats, but unfortunately, I'm not able to for extended periods because of allergies. While in high school and college, I trained Seeing Eye dogs from the ages of 7 weeks to a 1 1/2 years old. I have successfully trained 3 German Shepherds for the Seeing Eye. I am capable of training or reinforcing behaviour that is desired, should that be wanted. I am also capable of making sure a dog and cat's wellbeing is in my best interest. Having a decent sized backyard and living in a quiet neighborhood, walks and play time is a garauntee.

Jalisa sent lots of picture during our dog's stay and made us feel like she was having her own play vacation while we were away. I felt like our dog was well cared for and also had a great time with her dog. Thanks Jalisa for treating our pup like one of your own. We hope to have our dog stay with you again the next time we're out of town.

Jalisa is wonderful. Her love of animals is apparent. She takes care of your dog as her own. She allowed my dog Zoey to slept with her in her bed, played with her and took her for walks. She is the best.

Typically the dogs stay out in the house and if necessary for a time out, I do have a bed chain to keep dogs separated while still in the same room. For moments I need to go out, I do have a crate available. For those not crate trained, private conversations can be held.

If they are good with other dogs, mostly pertaining to the family dog. Also if they are special needs how severe is it, seeing how medication may be needed at certain times and my current work routine may/may not allow for time regimented medications
A typical day
I encourage owners to bring a harness so their dog can play in the backyard while on a yard lead. Depending on the dog, sometimes water is involved and a quick bath.

I currently work part time but will always make ensure the furbabies are well taken care of before, I leave and plenty of time and care for when I return.
