Hello there, I’m Jaklin! I’m a recent UW Grad, I live in Redmond, and I would describe myself as friendly, social and caring - basically a labrador retriever! I’ve taken care of pups and kitts for friends - walking dogs and overnight petsitting for dogs and taking care of their needs! :)

Jaklin has been walking and baby sitting my senior high needs poodle for over six months. She does an amazing job looking out for his needs and accommodating him. She is a very kind and loving friend to dogs. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
When it comes to your dog, you want the best for them and know that they are in good hands. Jaklin is reliable, honest, and passionate as a sitter. As a dog sitter, she has a calming presence and tries to understand your dog's behavior and their quirks. I can't speak highly enough about her and her work ethic.
Jaklin did a great job walking my nan G. She arrived on time, asked the necessary and appropriate questions, took pictures along the way and returned on time. A total Rock Star!

I live in a small apartment in Redmond so I won’t be able to care for your pet in my home but I do offer drop-in visits at the pet owner’s home and would be more than happy to drop-in for during the day to check-in, take them out for a walk, play with them, and feed them! I make sure to regularly update the pet owner with frequent messages and photos!

I love dogs of all sizes and breeds. Please let me know if they have any specials needs and I will accomodate. I’d also like to know about any quirks or things that your dog enjoys doing!
A typical day
Explore nearby parks, loop around your neighborhood, follow trails and sidewalks, and play in open fields - anywhere that keeps your dog engaged and using its senses is important for a successful walk. I walk briskly so as long as your dog is willing and able, we’ll definitely get in some mileage along the way - which is great if your dog is a ball of energy!

Availability
My availability is super flexible - I tend to take walks between 11am and 6pm but I am more than willing to accomodate your schedule. I’m definitely looking for an on-going long-term relationship with a pet owner and their cute pup!
