I have raised dogs my entire life and have a special connection with them. I know how special they are to us, so getting to work with them really is a dream come true for me! Unfortunately, my own dog was killed by a hit and run just over a year ago, but that’s only made me want me to give back to the pups in our lives that much more. Getting to provide them with the love they need to thrive is so rewarding for me, so your pup will always be in good hands when they’re under my care. In addition to being a dog owner, I also have experience working with dogs in a professional capacity as well. I have been a professional dog walker and boarder in the Buckhead area, and have loved every second of it! I’ve learned a lot from my canine companions, and always look forward to taking care of new pooches. I’ve also done some volunteer work in animal shelters and have always felt a real connection with the dogs that I took care of there. I currently don’t have any dogs of my own right now, so that means your pup will have my undivided attention! When taking on a new pooch, I typically like to schedule a meet and greet. It’s a great opportunity to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, plus we get to chat face-to-face about the best way to take care of your best friend. After all, no one knows them better than you do! I find that it’s always a good idea to make friends with your pooch before taking them under my care, as they know beforehand that I’m a friend and a welcome presence. During the meet, I’ll let them come to me and make friends at their speed. All the while, we’ll be discussing some of the most important aspects of care for your pooch! When your pup is under my care, you can be rest assured that my number one priority is in making you and your best friend feel completely comfortable and well taken care of. Firstly, I always provide regular, daily updates with accompanying pictures so you can see how much fun we’re having! But I am also very easy to reach in case anything arises or if you have any questions. For your pooch, their happiness and safety is my number one concern! I know dogs are creatures of habit, so I always like to stick to the schedule that they’re used to at home. That also means following instructions to a “T” so they feel like they’re in an environment that they’re used to.
