Pet care experience
Pet enthusiast in the Quad Cities hoping to assist families, working individuals, and other avid pet owners. I possess reliable transportation and references. I hold background experience in a range from elderly cat and dog care to farm cat and stray dog care. I enjoy spending time with my Golden Retriever, Indie. Also, taking care of my many plants, hiking, traveling, petting zoos, and anything involving nature and animals. I hired Jake for 3 days while I was gone, and he did a great job of getting Acie out to exercise. They walked the trails, and also visited the doggy park!! She loved Jake, and I could tell he was an animal lover , as I met him the last day and it was obvious she was excited to see him and he took great care of her!! Thanks Jake!
Jake was awesome with Oliver. Jake was flexible and willing to work with our busy lifestyle. We came home to a happy dog.
Trapper had a great time! He went to the dog park and played with others which was perfect for expending some of his 4 month yr old energy. We would definitely use Jake again to care for Trapper! Thanks Jake!
Parker got to swim and go to the dog park when he stayed with Jake. He also enjoyed playing with Jake’s dog and staying overnight. We plan to board Parker with Jake again in the future and appreciate the one-on-one attention he gives pets.

I have a large back yard relative to living in a duplex. Our Golden retriever spends sunny days on the back patio. Pets are allowed to sleep on the couch or bed in the guest room.

Our dog Indie is gentle and sort of awkward. She enjoys being outside, specifically in the woods where her Retriever personality shines. She is very welcoming to new guests.
A typical day
We always try to get one long walk in each day. Between the Iowa or Illinois side we usually rotate 5 or 6 different locations for walks/runs. More often with small dogs, a couple trips to the dog park in Bettendorf.

Availability
I am a teacher during the year, therefore, summer months off. Available June-August quite often. Our schedules tend to revolve around our dog, as we don’t have children, so adding another pet is not unusual or inconvenient.
