Hello, my name is Jake. Thank you for viewing my dog sitting portfolio. I am a store owner and manager for Earth Wood & Fiber, an artists gallery and gift shop. I have a genuine passion for all animals. I currently have 1 dog named Mia who is a boxer mix. She is a rescue and about 2 years old at the moment. I grew up with dogs my whole life, we had all sorts of dogs ranging from jack russells, beagles, Doberman pinchers and hounds. I spend much time when I am not at work with my wife, Jenna, and training our dog Mia. Mia has grown a lot since we got her at 5months, she is learning off leash training and is getting more comfortable each and every day with her anxiety and fears. I would accommodate any clients wishes regarding their furry pets or fish. I also have had aquariums my whole life and currently have a 40gal tropical fish tank. I am comfortable taking your furry friends on walks, runs, or taking them to dog parks. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns as I would love to talk further with you. Thank you. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up with dogs of all sizes from beagles as big as Doberman Pinschers. Currently, I have a rescue boxer mix named Mia who is about 2 years old. I am very interested in dog training right now and have been doing extensive training/off leash obedience with my dog Mia. She Gets better everyday and I have been complimented on her many times. Meet my pets I have 1 Dog Named Mia who is a Boxer Mix. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication. I have had to administer medication to my dog Mia on many occasions.

Jake took care of my big guy while I was away for a weekend trip. He was not able to stay overnight but came by 3 times per day as requested to walk and feed my dog. My dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma (growth in his nose) so he was on a string of supplements and a chicken and rice diet. Jake was excellent in keeping with his new diet and also informed me when my dog's appetite had seemingly changed. He was in contact fairly frequently with photos and also helped clean up when my dog knocked over a paint can. Jake was great at handling my big bully dog and holding down the fort.
Jake was a great choice to watch our special needs dog, Lena, for 10 days while we were out of the country. She was happy and healthy upon our return, and we didn't worry about her when we were away. Jake is very communicative and always responds quickly to messages. We'll definitely be using him again in the future!
Second time Jake has taken care of JP. Reliable, responsive, cares about our dogs, and JP likes Jake a lot. Will definitely keep asking Jake back the next time we need a dog sitter!
Jake took care of our two dogs, Lola and JP, for four days. He walked them several times a day and gave them some cuddle time. Both dogs were happy and unstressed upon our return. Jake kept us informed throughout the stay. He was just great and we plan to use him again.
