Pets are family members too

Pet care experience

We have owned cats or dogs ever since I was a toddler. The first pet ever was a gray and white, sweetheart of a cat named Noelle who I fell in love with. She was extremely docile, friendly, and eventually turned into my shadow. Even from a young age, I learned to respect her space and not to be too rough with her. Eventually we got a second cat from my Aunt, named Holly. She was an orange one and admittedly wasn’t always as friendly as Noelle was, but eventually, we bonded just the way Noelle and I did. And due to my previous experience with Noelle at a young age, a little feisty one like Holly wasn’t too bad and eventually she did warm up to me. Fast forward to High school after Holly and Noelle sadly passed away, we ended up getting another cat (a small, gray and black striped one named Mia) and even our first dog (a German shepherd, Rottweiler, Chow mix named Naomi) and both of them were little angels. Mia was extremely affectionate and cuddly. She would come into my room every night and slide under the covers with me as if she was a spouse. Naomi we raised from a small puppy so she basically grew up with me and I even taught her several tricks that become second nature to her. Despite her mixed breed, Naomi was not the biggest dog and definitely was not aggressive in any way, she truly was a man’s best friend. She always knew when I was upset too because she would sense it when I was on the verge of tears and would come over to lick me right away. I still miss both of them today. And then fast forward to modern days, and I have two cats (Hope & Faith) and a little Pomeranian (Victoria) and they are my everything. My mother, my sister in law, and even my wife have stated that Victoria is like a second wife to me 😂 Now Victoria is not the most behaved dog because she was a rescue and was never properly trained as a puppy, but once she warms up to you, she is an absolute sweetheart. The cats on the other hand are a totally different story. They immediately bonded to me since we got them as small kittens just the way Victoria did when we brought her home. For several years, I also worked at a dog daycare in our town, starting with the day shift, where you stay in the pens and interact with the pooches throughout the day. And then eventually I did the night shift for several years where you walk them at night, sleep overnight at the place, then feed them breakfast in the morning. I guess you can say that I’ve always had this positive energy or aura about me that attracts cats and dogs and immediately gets on their good side.

You literally cannot go wrong with having Jake as a caretaker for your pet. I have been one of his best friends for many years and every time I am over his house I personally witness the amount of love, care and affection he gives to his puppy. Whenever we are out in public together and someone has a dog he cannot resist just going to give it some type of love and affection. He is extremely responsible and loving with taking care of animals. I would HIGHLY recommend him! Nobody I know loves dogs and cats quite like him.

Jake is such a caring, warm hearted person, especially when it comes to animals. All of our lives he has had a passion for taking care of animals and giving them as much love and attention as possible. Animals can sense whether or not a person is kind hearted, and every animal that has been around our family has gravitated toward Jake. They know that he has a gift for working with animals and they have a sense of security around him. Working with animals is a perfect profession for him and not only are the pet owners lucky to have someone like him, the pets are lucky as well. He will make sure to take the best care of them and meet their every need. He takes caring for animals very seriously and goes above and beyond to bring happiness to their lives!

Safety, trust & environment

Due to the small size of my dog and her personality, I take her out in the backyard a lot and let her roam around freely if the weather is nice. When the weather is lousy, we stay inside together and watch TV on the couch, she loves that. Unfortunately she isn’t as young as she used to be so walking her around the block is not recommended by the vet anymore due to her heart, especially since she is a wild, neurotic one so it’s almost impossible to keep her calm when she’s outside. When it comes to the cats now a days, they either hide and want nothing to do with it interaction, or they are stuck to my hip in need of constant attention so it’s hit or miss with them.

Kindly, please inform me as soon as possible if you dog has any type of severe allergies, anxiety, prone to seizures, and especially (and I cannot stress ESPECIALLY enough) if your dog has any type of food/treat aggression, is prone to snapping, biting, lunging, or attacking, either in general or from a specific thing that a human does do it (such as removing a leash, etc.)

The best way I can sum this up, is that when I’m home, my Pomeranian and my cats are practically like my children. My dog doesn’t even like other dogs and my cats don’t like other cats, so they are practically attached to me daily when I’m around, so caring for dogs and cats is nothing new.
