My first experiences with dogs, like most dog lovers I have been around, were when I was young. I am 29 (old enough to be responsible) and I have lived with animals in some form for the better part of 25 years. I have experience with basic home care in multiple settings (apartment, house, farm) with dogs of all sizes. I have received some formal training in dog walking and basic behavioral modification as a volunteer for the Seattle Humane Society. I have experience walking up to three dogs at one time, and have experience with varying styles of leash systems. Walking, especially in such beautiful environs as Bend, has become one of my passions. I am always looking for a reason to wake a walk of any length. I also truly believe that little makes a walk better then the company of a dog. Their joy at life always improves my outlook on life. I am generally happy to be around dogs of all shapes and sizes, but as a relatively large individual, I have something of a special place in my heart for medium and large dogs. I have no problems dealing with large dogs or even multiple large dogs.
