Pet care experience
I have never been without a family friend in the form of a pet. Always volunteering to look after them, from my own selfish desires to get to cuddle more pets. Help me, help you, by letting me love on your furballs while you can't :)

Jake is very friendly and clearly loves dogs. He took care of my doodle for a day. Communication, facility and care all FIVE STAR! Will be my GO TO for boarding and day care. Jake has a fantastic place for dogs to go for walks. Nice neighborhood.
I work and go to graduate school full times so I'm always on the go. Jake watches my Golden Retriever, Beau, 1-2 times a week for me. Jake takes Beau on walks, feeds him, and gives him plenty of attention. Jake will send me updates throughout the day on how Beau is doing and he takes excellent care of him. Beau is always happy to stay with Jake and I feel so much better someone is talking him walks and caring for him throughout the day. Beau also gets along well with Jake's Dachshund. I would definitely recommend Jake. He is an animal lover and he truly cares for your pet!

Large fenced yard, great dog walking area, and a small dachshund to hang out with yours, plus a dog door (to the fenced yard) for freedom of movement. I can close this if it is not helpful for your animal. Very closely located to TWO dog friendly parks, including the actual dog park (if you have a membership, we can go! If not, we have many other options). Low crime area. Lots of kids (if yours is into that, they love giving cuddles during walks). Basically, not much more one can hope for as a 4 legged friend.

Does the dog get on well with others? Mine has total apathy unless they want to make a friend, at which point he will become their best friend. So depends on if your pup wants to make friends? Bring a leash obviously, and any favorite toys/sleep items (We have beds, but many prefer their own smells)
A typical day
Lots of walks, trips to the park. I love to play fetch/chase/etc but unfortunately, my own Apollo is not a fan...but if I ever find a friend who will, they're gonna be exhausted :) If pups are particularly well behaved, there may be a puppy cone in store (Sorry, Apollo, you're on a diet...)

Availability
I work from home, remotely managing a team. This allows me constant flexibility in my minute-by-minute, which results in my pup getting a LOT of walk time and cuddle time. Sometimes, I wonder if he wished I worked in office occasionally...
