Pet care experience
I found out about Rover through my sister who got excellent care for her dog in St. Louis. I've cared for dogs of all ages throughout my whole life including those with specific medical needs. I'm currently a 22 year old Law student at Tulane Law looking to make some extra money while helping others out! I have a 2 year old Cat that sleeps all day and has never had an issue with another dog or cat (including young and rambunctious ones). However, I live alone in my 2 Bedroom apartment and can easily seperate animals as necessary. As an animal lover all around I would love to take care of any pet that I can!

Jake was a great last minute find! Took care of our energetic lil guy all day while we were being tourists in New Orleans. Came back to a happy pup.
This was our first experience with Rover.com and I am so pleased. I saw Jake's profile and immediately scheduled a meet and greet. Jake allowed Ceasar to sniff around the house and also greet his dog. A few days later, Ceasar stayed with Jake at his home for the weekend. Jake was extremely flexible with my drop off and pick up times. Ceasar has been longing to socialize with other dogs so I know he enjoyed his stay. We plan to use Jake J. for our future boarding needs.
Our pup had a blast and was worn out after spending a long weekend with Jake. Jake was accommodating and clearly loves all dogs.

With another animal in the house, I think that a careful watchful eye is the most important to keeping everyone safe. That being said, I do have doggy gates at my disposal as well as the ability to seperate my cat from any visitor in her own room as to not add to the tension.

A typical day
I can accommodate dogs of all shapes and sizes with varying exercise needs. I live very close to Audubon Park where dogs can explore and run the trails with me (on leash), or just stroll through the more quiet Carrollton area.

Availability
I am currently a Law Student with a morning heavy schedule. However, this means my afternoons from about 12pm are completely open and weekends are always free.
