I’ve helped my brothers train and take care of their dogs for over 6 years, as well as now having my own dog to tend to. Walked, played with, and taken care multiple dogs routinely.

My Wife and I have 2 boxers, we have had one since a puppy that can be a bit of a handful, and another we rescued at the age of 5 that can be skittish around all sorts whether they are familiar or not. Both our dogs LOVE Jake, he is kind in nature and the dogs warm up to him immediately. Because our dogs are such high maintenance, we find it difficult to find someone we trust with them but would trust Jake with them any day of the week.
Jake is one of the sweetest people when it comes to dogs! We have two boxers. He has spent so much time with them, and they are always so excited to see him. One is a rescue who is very timid, and Jake is so good at making him comfortable. It is very apparent that Jake loves animals and you can be confident that he will take very good care of them!
The best way to describe Jake’s interactions with my dog would be gentle, kind, and caring. He carries a dominant energy that she has responded very well to from an obedience standpoint (which can be challenging at times because of her high energy). But she warmed up to him immediately and they became fast friends. Her body language and response to Jake’s commands let me know right away she approved of his presence in our home which to me says a lot about Jake!
Jake has cared for our dog (Doc) on multiple occasions, administered medication as needed, and provided food, water, walks, and love when we are out of town. I am very confident that he would be an excellent, responsible, and loving pet caregiver. Also, Jake owns his own dog that was rescued from a local animal shelter. I have no doubt that he will exceed your expectations.

A typical day
I love to play and walk dogs. Whether it’s running/walking, or playing fetch, tug-o-war, or whatever else. I love living in this neighborhood, because there are so many places to walk, or play fetch.

Availability
I work M-F, mostly mornings. Usually available any day after noon/1pm, and am available anytime after that. Weekends I am free after 8 am and can make certain exceptions
